Ph.D in Chemistry, Umeå University in 2001 (S.Wold supervisor). Associate Professor in Chemistry and initiator of the Computational life science cluster (CLIC), KBC, Umeå University. Also, acting group leader of Chemometrics & Bioinformatics at Umeå Plant Science Center (UPSC). Johan patented and pioneered the development of Orthogonal Projections to Latent Structures (OPLS) method and its extensions, the O2PLS and OPLS-DA methods that are all aimed at improving interpretation and visualization of highly complex data sets. 

Professor Torbjörn Lundstedt, AcurePharma AB
Ph.D. at Organic Chemistry, Umeå University in 1986, Professor in Chemometrics at Uppsala University since 1999. Professor Lundstedt has about 20 years experience of drug development in the pharmaceutical industry with Pharmacia and Melacure Therapeutics. Specialises in MQSAR, multivariate design, drug design, PAT and optimisation of products and/or processes. 

Professor Thomas Moritz, Umeå Plant Science Centre (UPSC), SLU
PhD at Dept. Forest Genetics and Plant Physiology, SLU in 1990, appointed Professor in 2003 at SLU. Professor Moritz has got 20 years experience in the analysis of low molecular weight compounds by mass spectrometry.

BSc in Chemistry from Lund University and more than 20 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry holding positions as Research Chemist in both synthetic chemistry and chemometrics at Pharmacia and at Melacure Therapeutics as Chemometrician, Patent Coordinator and Information Scientist.
