In 1998 Jon Gabrielsson obtained his Master of Science in Chemistry at Umeå University. He then went on to join the SPOC (Structure-Property Optimization Centre) group at Pharmacia&Upjohn in Uppsala before starting postgraduate studies at the Department of Chemistry, Umeå University. In 2004 he obtained his PhD with a thesis titled ‘Multivariate Methods in Tablet Formulation’. Finished two-year PostDoc project collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline on process analytical technology (PAT) and chemometric methods under the supervision of Dr Johan Trygg in 2006. During 2007 he worked at Element Six AB before joining AcureOmics AB.He is the author of more than ten publications on chemometric methods and their applications in tablet formulation and PAT, and has given oral and poster presentations at national as well as international conferences and has been invited lecturer several times.
